Details / Fifth Room supplied me with a single-page parallax homepage design. I reworked the design and then applied it to individual page designs for both desktop and mobile. Later, I adapted the web design for a printable PDF, which included new materials not present on the website.

IBM (Global Golden Circle)

Project / Design materieals for IBM's Global Golden Circle Awards 2006, honoring the top 1% of their employees worldwide, held in Bermuda.

Client / IBM for Fifth Room Creative

Details / IBM provided a recipe box as the container for the pre-event materials. To blend with the uniquely painted boxes, my designs featured elements of organic-“shabby” styles while maintaining a modern and sophisticated sensibility with die cuts, foil stamping, and translucency. To further define this organic/refined feel, I used Bermuda roofline silhouettes and etched style illustrations, providing a contrast of clean lines with “old world” reminiscence.

Parsippany Library System

Project / Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library System website/logo redesign, illustration and signage creation.

Client / Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library System for Fifth Room Creative

Details /  The client required that their new logo and website appeal to children without alienating adults. During the logo design, I focused on bright colors and offset them with detailed graphic renderings and formal type. I carried the bright color palette to the website and designed a fun and modern interface which could appeal to all ages. To distinguish this site from other library sites, I incorporated a large image area for immediate visual impact. The library card-carrying astronaut was part of a larger concept for a series of rotating images depicting adventurers with their library cards. The last image shows my process of exploring several rough ideas for logos.
